                                                    Helping to Enrich Lives!

Senior Care of Iowa is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to help the frail, older Adults, and disabled in Des Moines and its surrounding communities live longer, healthier, more independent lives by providing free services.

Senior Care of Iowa recruits, screens, trains, and coordinates volunteers to offer presence and assistance to those in need. We provide non-medical support such as transportation, assistance with medical appointments, grocery shopping, nutrition practices, advocacy, recreation and education programs.

We provide innovative programs that address critical gaps in service to the clients we serve. It is our goal to meet these escalating and evolving needs in our neighborhoods with your help and support. Our programs are in line with the recent interest to “rebalance” care for “Older Adults” towards the home and community level. Senior Care of Iowa wants to help our neighbors’ age with dignity and live more independent lives for as long as possible.
