Senior Care of Iowa is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to help the frail, older Adults, and disabled in Des Moines and its surrounding communities live longer, healthier, and more independent lives.
All Senior Care of Iowa employees that come into your home have been trained, background-checked, and insured under Senior Care of Iowa insurance coverage.
We provide non-medical care assistants such as organizing and decluttering, shopping/errands, light housekeeping/laundry, change linens, meal planning, light cooking, companionship & conversation, medical appointments/activities, nutrition practices, advocacy, recreation and education programs at an affordable cost.
We also provide innovative programs that address critical gaps in service to the clients we serve. It is our goal to meet these escalating and evolving needs in our neighborhoods with your help and support. Our programs are in line with the recent interest to “rebalance” care for “Older Adults” towards the home and community level. Senior Care of Iowa wants to help our neighbors’ age with dignity and live more independent lives for as long as possible. We are not Medicare or Medicaid certified. At Home with Senior Care of Iowa is a private pay home care program.Â
